Sing along with the Roseville Strings Dec. 11

Bring your family, friends and neighbors to the 20th annual Roseville Area Community Carol Sing-a-long for a relaxing hour of holiday music and singing, followed by free refreshments.

Sing carols with the orchestra, listen to seasonal music, and enjoy songs from other lands performed by the St. Mary’s Balalaika Orchestra. Please join us after the concert for free coffee, treats, and conversation.

On the program are

  • George Frideric Handel, Concerto Grosso in E Minor
  • Felix Mendelssohn, String Sinfonia no. 10 in B Minor
  • Benjamin Britten, Simple Symphony
  • Percy Grainger, “Mock Morris”
  • George Gershwin, “Lullaby”

The concert begins at 3:30 p.m. in Buetow Music Auditorium, Concordia University. Join conductor Amir Kats and conductor emeritus Jim Hainlen for a pre-concert talk. The talk is scheduled for 3 p.m.
