FALL CONCERT: LITTLE SUITES & SWEET SERENADES

Join us for a sparkling program of short pieces under the baton of Artistic Director Amir Kats. The concert includes Shin-Itchiro Yokoyama’s Petite Serenade for Strings, Carl Nielsen’s Little Suite, Pietro Locatelli’s Concerto Grosso Op. 1 No. 9, and a string orchestra arrangement of Scott Joplin’s ragtime classic, The Cascades. Our final piece on the program is America the Beautiful, celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary.
Admission is free; donations are appreciated ($20 suggested). Free parking on the Hamline University Campus.
