2025 Fall Concert: “Autumn in Counterpoint”

Join us Sunday, Nov. 9, as we kick off a new season with an afternoon of gorgeous string music. Artistic Director Amir Kats will conduct our fall concert at 3 p.m. (please note the new time) at Sundin Music Hall on the Hamline University campus, 1531 Hewitt Ave., St. Paul.

The program ranges from a lush orchestral version of a favorite J.S. Bach organ work to the haunting “Oblivion” by Astor Piazzolla.

About RSE

The Roseville String Ensemble (RSE) is the Twin Cities’ only amateur string orchestra. RSE was formed in 1998 to bring together amateur string players to learn and perform ensemble music, foster the players’ personal growth and satisfaction, and contribute to the community through music.

RSE plays music not typically performed by other community orchestras, including Baroque concerti grossi, string suites, and contemporary works for string orchestra. We perform three free public concerts each season. The musicians also participate in weekly chamber groups throughout the summer, and small groups of players perform occasionally for community events.
